About the role:

As a Logistics Assistant for our new Check In Team, you will be in the heart of our operations, ensuring that our stock moves seamlessly from entering our Facility through to our Appraisal team with precision and care. This role is instrumental in improving and driving our high standards of efficiency and quality.

In your first three months you will:

Familiarise yourself with our logistics processes and technology.

Assist in packing items and picking boxes to be packed.

Gain proficiency in maintaining quality standards while maximising output.

In your first six months you will:

Begin cross-training in other departments within Logistics.

Take on more responsibilities in organising the warehouse and supporting other departments as needed.

In your first year you will:

Successfully cross-train in up to 4 departments within the wider Logistics function.

Contribute to the implementation of new processes to further enhance efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

Removing items from customers' boxes, ensuring they are placed back into secure tubs to go through our Appraisal systems.

Utilise our bespoke technology to check customer boxes into our Facility, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Maintain a high level of output while upholding quality standards.

Assist in lifting up to 30kg and moving boxes as needed.

Support in organising the warehouse and the building as a whole.

Move cages of stock between departments and assist in sorting stock.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Essential skills and experience:

Ability to thrive in a hands-on, heavy-lifting environment.

Strong team player mindset with the capacity to work collaboratively.

Adaptability to handle a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Demonstrated ability to work independently while following instructions accurately and efficiently.

Previous experience in logistics or warehouse operations.

Familiarity with inventory management systems.
